Louise Dennis

Louise A. Dennis is a senior lecturer at the University of Manchester, where she leads the Autonomy and Verification Group. Her research focuses on the development and verification of autonomous systems, including issues related to transparency and ethics. She is conference coordinator for the ACM Special Interest Group in AI and is involved in international standards activities around robotics and autonomous systems, particularly the IEEE P7001 Standard for “Transparency of Autonomous Systems”. She received a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and is on the editorial board of Science of Programming and PeerJ.
